The 997.1 Carrera family (3.6/3.8 NA flat-six) is one of the sweetest-revving 911s ever built, but the factory exhaust keeps a lid on its character. The big center canister and conservative cross-over dull throttle response, flatten the midrange, and leave the note a little hollowβmore hush than heartbeat. Our Yonristic system replaces the entire center section with a true X-pipe core flanked by tuned high-flow cans, then routes to compact side mufflers that preserve tone while controlling volume. The result is the sound the 997 deserves: cleaner harmonics, fuller midrange, and a hard-edged, motorsport top endβwithout the droning that plagues straight-through conversions.

Valve Control β OEM behavior, plug-and-play
We retain the factory PSE valve locations and actuator mounts; on PSE-equipped cars the behavior is fully preserved. For non-PSE cars, our optional remote valve kit gives you two characters on demandβrefined for long trips, or wide-open for back roads.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Built from AISI 304 stainless steel for daily-driven durability (titanium available by request), each system is derived from 3D scans of the 997 underbody for perfect alignment. CNC-machined flanges and brackets lock to factory points, while back-purged TIG welds ensure smooth internal transitions and long life under heat cycling. Mandrel bends keep the cross-section consistent from inlet to tips.
Performance β realistic gains you can feel
On a healthy 997.1, a well-designed X-pipe cat-back typically delivers +8β12 whp and +8β12 lb-ft with noticeably crisper throttle response. Pairing our system with 200-cell sport cats and a quality ECU calibration commonly lifts total improvements into the +15β25 whp range, with a broader, cleaner pull to redline. The headline, however, is tone quality and weight: deleting the bulky center canister drops mass and replaces the muted stock voice with a sharp, classic flat-six cry.
