Mercedes-Benz W213 AMG E400 E43 Exhaust System

This exhaust system is centered around aΒ large 3.5-inch midpipe, designed to dramatically reduce backpressure compared to the factory layout. The increased cross-section allows exhaust gases to move more freely, improving turbo response on the E400 and sharpening overall engine behavior on the AMG-tuned E43. By maintaining high flow capacity through the mid-section, the system ensures consistent performance even under sustained load or spirited driving.

At the rear, the exhaust transitions into a valved dual-path muffler design. With the valves closed, exhaust gases are routed through a controlled internal path that keeps sound levels refined and cabin noise minimalβ€”ideal for commuting, highway cruising, or long-distance driving. Open the valves using the included remote valve control system, and the exhaust shifts to a more direct flow route, delivering a louder, deeper, and more aggressive tone with crisp throttle response and pronounced overrun characteristics.

The system is engineered using precise underbody measurements to ensure perfect fitment, proper clearance, and OEM-style mounting. All sections are hand TIG-welded for strength and longevity, with smooth transitions and consistent wall thickness to preserve exhaust velocity. The result is a system that not only sounds better, but also feels sharper and more responsive throughout the rev range.

Thanks to the high-flow midpipe and reduced exhaust restriction, the system delivers tangible performance benefits:
