The first-generation Audi R8 is a landmark car—lightweight, naturally aspirated, and engineered around sound as much as speed. Our exhaust system is designed to unlock that character without compromising drivability or refinement. Built around a true X-pipe configuration, the system balances exhaust pulses from both banks before the rear section, smoothing airflow and sharpening the engine’s natural frequency. The result is a cleaner, more exotic tone that rises with RPM instead of flattening out, preserving the high-revving personality that defines the R8 V8 and V10 platforms.

This is a fully valved system, offering maximum flexibility. The exhaust can operate using the factory Audi valve control, retaining OEM drive-mode integration, or through the remote valve controller we provide, allowing on-demand control regardless of vehicle settings. With the valves open, exhaust flow follows a near straight-through path across the X-pipe and out to the rear exits, delivering maximum volume, instant throttle response, and sharp, motorsport-style overrun. Valves closed route the gases through the rear canisters, reducing overall output while maintaining a deep, mechanical tone suitable for street use and long drives.

Engineering and durability are core to the design. All primary junctions use casted collectors and transition pieces, ensuring smooth internal geometry where traditional welded joints can introduce turbulence. This improves flow consistency, reduces heat stress, and enhances long-term reliability—especially critical for high-revving naturally aspirated engines. The system is available in AISI 304 stainless steel for strength and longevity, or TI-6AL-4V (Grade 5) titanium for significant weight reduction and a sharper, more responsive acoustic character. Every unit is hand-fabricated and TIG-welded for structural integrity and a clean, motorsport-grade finish.

Designed using precise vehicle measurements, the exhaust bolts directly to factory mounting points with no cutting or modification required.
